High performance DSP speaker management
The DSM components are powerful and state of art tools for professional speaker management. Our DSM-428 series contains 2 different devices which convince you with highest level of German DSP technology.
Features of the Input and output section:
There are 4 electronically balanced analog inputs and 8 electronically balanced analog outputs. The rugged analog input stage accepts input voltages up to +24dBu with an excellent dynamic range of typically 125dB(A). The max. output level is 12dBu. An digital AES/EBU input connects with a two-channel digital input signal.
Features of the DSP section:
FIR taps can be assigned to the outputs as required. 10 PEQ for each in and output channel and crossover filter up to 48dB/Oct points out the high level of these DSM series. Permanent logging and monitoring of key parameters such as temperature, signal level and gain reduction. All functions controlled via the front panel or via the DSM network application. All the DSP settings and coefficients are calculated on-the-fly at the moment of changing the parameters. Frequencies can be set with 1Hz accuracy, delays with 15 microseconds accuracy, and gains with 0.01dB accuracy. When editing values via the Encoder ate the front panel, some values are limited in granularity; e.g. gain is set via 0.25dB steps in this case.
Features of the DSM network software:
The DSM Network software will give you access to all DSM devices connected to the network. This could be speaker management processors, amplifiers or active speaker and active line arrays. It is possible to group and control several units under the DSM network for easy stress-free configuration of huge sound setups.
